D-36, Series 4A

The engine is used for transport and convertible passenger/cargo aircraft. The D-36, Series 4À, engine is a bypass turbofan engine featuring a thrust reverser and noise suppression. The takeoff thrust is 6,500 kgf.
The multi-purpose engine mount makes it possible to use the engine in numerous types of aircraft without changing the engine design by installing the engine under or above the wing, in the aircraft fuselage or on its both sides.
