It is used for using as auxiliary power unit in the aircraft.
For designing the engine the use was made of long-term experience of production and operation of the АI-9 basic engine making it possible to provide low production price, high reliability and long service life. The engine is used for starting the aircraft propulsion engines and air-conditioning of the cockpit and the passenger cabin, as well as electric supply to the onboard customers. |
